Lower Collaton Farm is a traditional old Devonshire farmhouse, dating back to Domesday and before, nestled in the valley of the River Gara. Set in the heart of peaceful countryside it is surrounded by rolling hills where sheep and cattle graze. It is a small working sheep farm with hens and ducks running in the courtyard. Perfectly placed in the heart of the South Hams, Lower Collaton is just six miles from the coast, and under twenty minutes from Dartmouth, Totnes and Kingsbridge, as long as you're not stuck behind a tractor! The gardens of Agatha Christie's Greenaway on the River Dart and the D'Oyle Carte's Collaton Fishacre (both National Trust) are close by. Walkers can trek from Collaton or take a short drive to Dartmoor or the South Devon Coastal Path.
